Our Responsible Gaming Programme

We want our guests to have a good time and wager responsibly with the understanding that online casino gambling is a form of entertainment. The purpose of our Responsible Gaming Programme is to prevent problem gambling and help you keep to your individual gaming budget.

You can use the responsible gaming tool to set personal wagering limits for yourself whenever you wish. Specify the maximum amount of money you wish to allow yourself to wager within a certain time period (per day, per week or per month). You can also specify the maximum total you wish to allow yourself to lose per wagering period.

A day starts at 0:00 h and ends 24 hours later. A week is the last seven days including the current day. A month is the last 30 days including the current day.

If you reach your wagering limits the system will automatically recognize when you have reached the limits you have specified for yourself. When you are logged in, you will immediately be notified through a pop-up message when your most recently placed bet has reached or exceeded the limits for the current wagering period. If you are currently participating in a real-money game and your limits have been exceeded, the game will automatically close as soon as the current game round is finished. You will then be unable to bet in any real-money game until the next wagering period begins.

During the period you are excluded from the real-money games, you will still be permitted to log in to the casino to play the games in practice mode, and you will still be able to access your online casino account to make deposits and withdrawals. You cannot, however, access any real-money game or make any real-money bet during the specific wagering period. This includes freespins offered by CasinoClub as well.

For your own protection, you will be unable to use the responsible gaming tool to set new limits for yourself until the period of exclusion from the real-money games has ended.

We may offer you the possibility to specify time limits on how much time you allow yourself to play a game for real money. This is called session time, and session time is the time from when you start a game until you exit it. You specify the time in minutes and if you spend more time playing a game for real money, we will require you to take a break from playing the game.

If you suspect you may have a gambling problem, you can use the Responsible Gaming tool to immediately and completely exclude yourself from logging in to the online casino. You can choose to exclude yourself for a limited time period (a designated number of days) or permanently. If you wish to exclude yourself from the casino for a limited time, use the Responsible Gaming tool to specify the number of days (starting with, but not counting the present day) you wish to remain excluded from the casino. During the time you are completely excluded from the casino, you will be unable to log in, access your casino account or alter your period of exclusion.

If you would like to exclude yourself from all gaming activity at CasinoClub, please contact our customer support. A self-exclusion request can be processed for a day, a week, a month, or permanently, per your preferences. Please note that if you close your account permanently, it cannot be reopened. Should you choose to self-exclude yourself, your VIP status at CasinoClub will be terminated.

During the time you are excluded from the casino, you will not be able to log in, access your CasinoClub account, or change the period of your exclusion. Before voluntarily excluding yourself permanently from the casino, please make sure you withdraw any funds available in your account. Otherwise, you will be required to contact Customer support.

Here are some examples of common scenarios when working with the Responsible Gaming Programme:

Responsible Gaming

  1. A registered player may by written notice or electronic notice to the licensee:
    (a) set a limit on the amount the player may wager within a specified period of time
    (b) set a limit on the losses the player may incur within a specified period of time
    (c) set a limit on the amount of time the player may play in any one session
    (d) exclude the player from playing for a definite or indefinite period of time.
  2. A player who has set a limit or exclusion under this regulation may change or revoke the limit or exclusion by written notice or electronic notice given to the licensee.
  3. A notice increasing or revoking a limit or decreasing the exclusion has effect only after seven days after the licensee has received the notice.
  4. A notice reducing a limit or increasing the exclusion has effect immediately after it is received by the licensee.
  5. A licensee shall not accept a wager from a player contrary to a limit or exclusion set by the player under this regulation.

Enabling a limit

  • The particular limit was disabled before.
  • The limit takes effect immediately, and is applied to any previous gaming in the limit period.

You have never set a wagering or loss limit before, and now you decide to set your first daily wagering limit of €100 at 21:00 h on Monday, January 21st. You have wagered €80 since 00:00 h on Monday, January 21st. Then you proceed to wager €20 at 23:00 h. The wagering limit of €100 now comes into effect, and you will not be allowed to wager again until the next period starts (in this case 00:00 h on Tuesday, January 22nd)

Lowering a Limit

  • The lower limit takes effect immediately.

You set your first daily wagering limit of €300 on Monday, January 21st at 11:00 h. You then decide to reduce the daily wagering limit to €50 on Monday, January 21st, at 16:00 h. You have wagered €30 since 00:00 h on Monday, January 21st. The new limit comes into effect immediately, and as a result you will be allowed to wager €20 for the remaining of the current period i.e. up to including 23:59 h on Monday, January 21st.

Increasing a limit

  • The higher limit is registered as a new requested increase and will not be applied immediately. Instead it will be applied after a period of at least seven days.

You have a daily wagering limit of €50 and decide to increase the limit to €100 on Monday, January 21st at 16:00 h. The new limit of €100 is the new requested limit and will appear in the “Requested limit” field. The new increased limit of €100 will be applied at the earliest 00:00 h on Tuesday, January 29th. The daily limit of €50 will remain in place until this time.

Further increasing a limit when there is a new requested increase

  • The existing requested limit is replaced with the new value.
  • The new requested increase will not take effect until after at least seven days, regardless of how much time was left from the original increase.

You have a weekly wagering limit of €300 and decide to increase the limit to €500 on Monday, January 21st, at 13:00 h. The new limit of €500 is the new requested limit and will appear in the “Requested limit” field. The new requested limit will not take effect until at least seven days, i.e. at the earliest 00:00 h on Tuesday, January 29th.

If during the seven-day period on Friday January 25th, at 22.00 h you decide to increase the weekly wagering limit to €800, the previous requested limit of €500 is replaced with the new value of €800.

This new requested limit will take effect after a further seven days i.e. the increase to a limit of €800 will not come into effect until at the earliest Saturday, February 2nd, at 00:00 h, and the original limit of €300 will stay in place until this time.

Cancelling a new requested increase

  • A requested increase is cancelled by setting the limit to the current (not pending) value (or a lower value).
  • The requested increase is removed.

You have a daily wagering limit of €20 and decide to increase the limit to €80 on Tuesday, January 22nd, at 11:00 h. The new limit of €80 is regarded as the new requested limit and will appear in the “Requested limit” field. The new requested limit will not take effect until at least seven days, i.e. at the earliest 00:00 h on Wednesday, January 30th. The current daily wagering limit of €20 will remain in place until this time.

However, during the time period of at least seven days before the new limit takes effect, you decide to remove the new requested limit of €80, and you do that by entering €20 or a lower value as the new value. A lower limit takes effect immediately and the previous requested limit of €80 is cancelled.
